Intimate Image Takedown Requests
If an intimate image of you has been shared on Basketball AI: Odds & Analysis without your consent, you can ask us to remove it. You do not need an account or to sign in to make a request. This page describes how requests work under the TAKE IT DOWN Act, which has been in force since May 19, 2026.
If the person in the image is, or appears to be, under 18, also see our Child Safety Standards. Do not copy or forward the image.
1. What this covers
This process is for non-consensual intimate visual depictions. That means images or videos that show an identifiable person's intimate body parts or sexually explicit conduct, shared without that person's consent. It includes digital forgeries, meaning images or videos created or altered by software, including AI ("deepfakes"), that appear to show an identifiable person in an intimate or sexually explicit situation they were not actually in.
On Basketball AI: Odds & Analysis, the only image surface for users is profile pictures (there is no photo or video sharing in posts or messages). Requests may still concern profile pictures or any image-related content on the Service.
2. How to make a request
Use the form below on this page. You can make a request if you are the person depicted or you are authorized to act on that person's behalf. The request must contain:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the content and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, such as the username of the account, a link, or a description of where it appears.
- A brief statement that you have a good-faith belief that the intimate visual depiction is not consensual, including any relevant information (for example, that you did not consent to it or that it is a forgery).
- Your contact information, so we can reach you.
When you submit the request, you will receive a tracking number. Please keep it. Do not attach the image itself to your request. A description and location are enough.
You can also:
- Use Report in the app on a profile, and choose the "sexual" option. An in-app report on a profile picture for sexual content hides the picture immediately while we review it. For the formal statutory process and a tracking number, use the form below.
- Email dumanmuraat@gmail.com with the information listed above.
3. What we do
- We remove the content within 48 hours of receiving a valid request, and we make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies of the image on the Service.
- We keep a fingerprint (hash) of the removed image so that the same image can be blocked from being uploaded again. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM: hash retention and wording.]
- We notify you of the outcome of your request at the contact details you provided, using your tracking number.
- We may keep a record of your request and of our response for legal and compliance reasons, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that share intimate images without consent, and we may report to law enforcement where appropriate. See our Community Guidelines.
If we need more information to find or evaluate the content, we may contact you. A request that is missing required elements may not start the 48-hour period until we have what we need.
4. Bad-faith requests
Please use this process honestly. Submitting a request that you know to be false or in bad faith, for example to remove lawful content, may result in action against your account and, where the law allows, other consequences. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM: wording on bad-faith requests and the statute's treatment of them.]
5. If you are in danger or need support
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are under 18 or the image shows a minor, you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC); see our Child Safety Standards.
