Basketball AI: Odds & Analysis Monthly Leaderboard Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR A SUBSCRIPTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

These Official Rules (the "Rules") govern the free monthly leaderboard contest run in the Basketball AI: Odds & Analysis app (the "Contest"). They supplement our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. If these Rules conflict with the Terms of Use for the Contest, these Rules control. By entering, you agree to these Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final.

1. Sponsor

The Contest is sponsored and operated by MURAT DUMAN, [POSTAL ADDRESS] (the "Sponsor", "we", "us"). Questions about the Contest: dumanmuraat@gmail.com.

Apple Inc., Google LLC and any other app store or platform are not sponsors of the Contest and are not involved in it in any way. They do not administer it, endorse it, or have any obligation or liability to you in connection with it. Any question, complaint or claim about the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor and not to Apple, Google or any other store.

2. Who may enter

To be eligible you must, at the time you enter and when a prize is awarded:

• be at least 21 years old;
• be a legal resident of the United States (the 50 states and the District of Columbia) [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM: territories, and any states to exclude];
• have a Basketball AI: Odds & Analysis account in good standing that is at least 7 days old;
• have one account only: one account per person. Entries from more than one account of the same person are void and may lead to disqualification of all of that person's accounts;
• not be an employee, contractor, officer or director of the Sponsor or its affiliates, a person who works on or has non-public access to the Contest, or a member of the household or immediate family of such a person.

We may ask you to confirm your eligibility, including your age and residence, before a prize is delivered. The Contest is not open to anyone who is barred from using the Service under our Terms of Use.

3. How to enter: free, no purchase necessary

Every user with an account in good standing who can create picks is automatically entered in the Contest for each calendar month in which they meet the ranking requirements in Section 4. There is no fee and no purchase or subscription requirement. Free-plan and paid-plan users have exactly the same opportunity to enter, to be ranked and to win. Creating an account and creating picks are free.

To take part:

1. Download the app and create a free account (you must confirm you are 21 or older).
2. Create picks in the app before the games in them begin. A pick is a free, informational selection of up to 10 legs. No money is wagered or staked and nothing can be won or lost other than a place on the leaderboard.
3. Keep "Show me on the leaderboard" turned on in Settings > Privacy and keep your picks visible to everyone. If you turn the leaderboard setting off, or restrict who can see your picks, you are not ranked and cannot win.

4. Contest period, ranking and units

Contest periods. Each calendar month is a separate contest period. A period starts at 12:00:00 a.m. and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. US Eastern Time (ET) on the first and last day of the month. A pick counts in the period in which it locks (see Section 5).

Ranking metric. Entrants are ranked by units earned over the calendar month. Units are calculated by us from verified results as follows: each leg of each pick counts as 1 unit staked at the price (odds) shown when the pick was created. A winning leg earns the decimal price minus 1; a losing leg earns -1; a leg that pushes (lands exactly on the line) or is voided earns 0. Units are an illustrative scoring unit only: they are not money and have no cash value.

Minimum activity. To be ranked for a month you must have at least 40 settled legs in that month. Won, lost and pushed legs count as settled legs; voided legs do not. Picks that we void or remove from the leaderboard under Section 7 do not count.

Ties. If entrants are tied on units (units are rounded to two decimals), the tie is broken in this order: (1) the higher hit rate (legs won divided by legs won plus legs lost), (2) the greater number of settled legs, and (3) the earlier account registration. Data and grading. Odds and game data come from third parties and are illustrative. Results are graded automatically from official game data, with a short delay so statistic corrections can arrive. We may correct grading errors at any time, including after a month is closed and before prizes are delivered, and the corrected ranking governs.

5. Picks lock at tip-off; records are immutable

A pick locks when the first game it includes begins (its "tip-off"). Before it locks you may delete it. After it locks it cannot be edited or deleted, and its selections, prices and lines never change. Your record is calculated by us and cannot be changed or erased by you. A pick created after its game has actually begun is graded void. A pick on a game that is postponed or cancelled, or whose start time moves by more than 12 hours, is void for that leg.

6. Prizes

At the close of each month, the top 10 eligible entrants by the ranking above each receive a prize, according to their final rank:

• Discount on your next renewal. If you have a paid Basketball AI: Odds & Analysis subscription, your prize is the stated percentage discount on your next subscription renewal (a 100% discount means that renewal is free). We deliver the discount using the promotional tools that are available to us for your subscription, for example an offer code, or a deferral of your next billing date of equivalent value. • Free-plan winners. If you are on the free plan when your prize is awarded, there is nothing to discount, so your prize is free subscription days equal to the percentage shown above multiplied by 30 days (for example, a 50% prize is 15 days). Free days are credited to your account.
• Approximate retail value of each prize is no more than the price of one month of the subscription you hold or receive. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM: approximate retail value to be stated, and by plan.]
• No cash value. Prizes have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be assigned, exchanged or redeemed for cash or any cash alternative, and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so. The discount does not apply to past charges and has no effect on price changes by the store.
• Delivery is manual and takes place after the month closes and after we have reviewed the leaderboard. Delivery may take several days. We will notify winners in the app (and by push notification if enabled). If we cannot deliver a prize to you, for example because your account is closed, you are no longer eligible or you do not respond to a request within a reasonable time that we set, the prize may be forfeited and we may award it to the next eligible entrant or not at all.
• Taxes. Prizes are of small value. You are solely responsible for any federal, state and local taxes on a prize. We may request tax information where the law requires it. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM: tax reporting and withholding thresholds, if any.]

7. Review, disqualification and voiding

Before any prize is delivered, our staff review the leaderboard and the top finishers' picks for cheating. We may, in our sole discretion and without notice:

• void a pick, or keep a pick or an account off the leaderboard;
• disqualify an entrant, and withhold or revoke a prize, for cheating, tampering, manipulation or abuse. This includes multiple accounts and coordination between accounts, using bots or automation, using information that was not public when the pick was created, picks made in bad faith (for example to manipulate rankings, to exploit a data or pricing error, or entered after the outcome was known), fake or altered records, providing false eligibility information, and breaking our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines;
• correct the ranking after a pick is voided or an entrant is disqualified.

Accounts under suspension or ban, and accounts of people who have deleted their account (their picks are removed from the leaderboard and rewards), are not ranked.

8. Odds of winning

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants, the picks they make and their results, and on how you rank. Because rank depends on results, there is no guaranteed chance of winning.

9. Informational use; no wagering

Basketball AI: Odds & Analysis is an informational app with AI-generated NBA analysis and a social layer. It is not a sportsbook, does not accept wagers or deposits, and does not pay out winnings. Picks, odds, units and records are for information and entertainment only and are not betting, financial, tax or legal advice. Past results do not guarantee future results. 10. Changes, suspension and cancellation

We may modify these Rules, or suspend, change or cancel the Contest or any contest period, at any time and for any reason, including fraud, technical failure, an error in data or grading, loss of a data source, an act of God, or a change in law or in the app-store or platform rules, subject to applicable law. If we do, we will post the change in the app or at /contest-rules. Continued participation after a change means you accept it. We are not responsible for entries or results lost, late or corrupted because of technical failures, and we make no promise that the app or the Contest will be uninterrupted.

11. Privacy and publicity

Your username, level, rank and statistics are shown on the public leaderboard unless you turn the leaderboard setting off. We use your information to run the Contest, check eligibility and deliver prizes as described in our Privacy Policy. By accepting a prize you agree that we may publish your username and rank (not your real name) as a winner. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM: any winner-list or publicity consent requirement.]

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sponsor, its affiliates and their personnel are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your participation in the Contest or from the receipt or use of a prize. Nothing in these Rules limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Rules and the Contest are governed by the laws of [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM: governing law, for example the state where the Sponsor is organized], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
